The original kitchen was worn, dated and stripped of appliances. We shortened the uppers to remove the pulls, installed a glass back splash, lighting over the island and new appliances.
Deck to Puget Sound
The property was completely overgrown. We cleaned out the ivy and blackberries and refurbished the ironwood decking.
Deck View to the South
The amount of overgrowth was astounding and it literally took one month to simply pare back the bramble.
Yard to Garage
The yard space between the house and garage had become untenable. We reestablished a true front yard to the house.
Front Door Entrance
The entry had obviously gotten out of control. We uncovered and refurbished a water feature and brightened up the entrance.
Garage to Front Door
Cleaning everything up made for a very welcoming entrance.
Ivy Encased Trees
The two statuesque trees in front of the house had become so encased in ivy that they effectively created a blockade to the view. After repelling up the trees the arborist was able to bring them back to their natural state.
The original living room was dark and did not properly feature the copper fireplace. Refinishing the hardwood floors and repainting with a lighter color created a more comfortable space.
The original studio space under the garage was contaminated with mold due to back fill from the neighbor against a wood wall causing excess moisture to penetrate the structure.
In order to properly hold back the fill we created a new full height concrete wall and turned the space into a nice studio.
